{"id":1465,"date":"2019-05-27T00:07:32","date_gmt":"2019-05-26T22:07:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prb.pl\/?p=1465"},"modified":"2019-10-11T01:31:40","modified_gmt":"2019-10-10T23:31:40","slug":"the-polish-business-roundtable-award-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prb.pl\/en\/2019\/05\/27\/the-polish-business-roundtable-award-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"The Polish Business Roundtable Award 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Polish Business Roundtable Awards for businesspeople, innovators, and social activists were presented for the eighth time.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Jerzy Owsiak\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 the founder of The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity\u00a0\u2013 received a <strong>SPECIAL Award<\/strong> for launching and successfully developing for nearly 30 years the largest charity project in the Polish history.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Igor Klaja<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the creator of the strongest Polish sport brand 4F, founder and president of OTCF \u2013 received an<strong> Award for SUCCESS <\/strong>for his exceptional achievements in business.<\/li>\n<li><strong>R\u00f3\u017ca Rzepli\u0144ska<\/strong> \u2013 a civic activist, the co-founder and president of the 61 Association, which monitors candidates for public offices \u2013 received an<strong> Award for SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Award Committee did not announce the winner of\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Award for INNOVATION<\/strong>. All three finalists:\u00a0<strong>Dawid Cyco\u0144 <\/strong>from ML System, <strong>Rafa\u0142 Modrzewski <\/strong>from ICEYE, and <strong>Wiktor Schmidt<\/strong> from Netguru received honorable distinctions. The Award Gala took place on May 27th, 2019 in Warsaw&#8217;s Ufficio Primo.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/z_RVenvB3ps?feature=oembed\" width=\"789\" height=\"444\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u2013 <em>We have been part of the European Union for fifteen years now, but that is only fifteen years! Our winners and finalists are true Europeans, but also global citizens and equal partners of global companies and organizations. They change the world, search for new solutions, they are open, confident, and without complexes.
