For several weeks now, we have witnessed, with concern, the spectacular arrests of former heads of state companies. After Presidents of Orlen and Lotos, similar fate befell President and Board Members of PKP Cargo.<\/p>\n

We strongly protest against the arrests of entrepreneurs, which are carried out only for the purpose of pressing charges and interrogation. Such a practice undermines trust to the entrepreneur and the company he owns or manages. This kind of damage comes dangerously close to cases of punishment without trial, which cannot be tolerated in the democratic state. That is why the arrests, and the way they are conducted, undermine trust to state institutions.<\/p>\n
