The Polish Business Roundtable Award 2019

The Polish Business Roundtable Awards for businesspeople, innovators, and social activists were presented for the eighth time.

• Jerzy Owsiak – the founder of The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity – received a SPECIAL Award for launching and successfully developing for nearly 30 years the largest charity project in the Polish history.
• Igor Klaja – the creator of the strongest Polish sport brand 4F, founder and president of OTCF – received an Award for SUCCESS for his exceptional achievements in business.
• Róża Rzeplińska – a civic activist, the co-founder and president of the 61 Association, which monitors candidates for public offices – received an Award for SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT.

The Award Committee did not announce the winner of  Award for INNOVATION. All three finalists: Dawid Cycoń from ML System, Rafał Modrzewski from ICEYE, and Wiktor Schmidt from Netguru received honorable distinctions. The Award Gala took place on May 27th, 2019 in Warsaw’s Ufficio Primo.

Our winners and finalists are true Europeans, but also global citizens and equal partners of global companies and organizations. They change the world, search for new solutions, they are open, confident, and without complexes. Their strength is their ability to cooperate, something that makes this world a better place – says Wojciech Kostrzewa, Chairman of the Award Committee.
