The Polish Business Roundtable calls on Senators of the Republic of Poland to reject the draft amendments to the Social Insurance System Act.
It is a duty and right of every government to shape the economic and tax policy of the state. However, to implement changes in the social security system, it is necessary to consider the effects, both economic and social, of the proposed regulations. Such an important change, implemented without adequate time for preparation, and the financial burden it places on employers, causes legitimate anxiety and uncertainty whether it will be possible to run business activity in relatively stable and predictable conditions. It also undermines the confidence of citizens in state institutions.
